Become a Secret Santa

Do you know someone who could use a little help with paying their electric bills during Christmas or any other time of year?

Many people have become Secret Santas by donating money towards a Verendrye member's electric bill. It could be for a family member, friend, neighbor or a complete stranger.

We have generous people who specifically pay down a bill for someone they know, but sometimes they donate and let us apply it to a bill of someone we know needs the help. Members who have received the extra help at Christmas have been very appreciative and grateful of the Secret Santa’s gifts.

You can be a Secret Santa any time of the year, not just during the holidays.

To become a Secret Santa, contact Collections Supervisor Krystal Stober at 800-472-2141 or stop in our Velva or Minot offices. We take Visa, Master Card, American Express, cash or you can mail in a check made out to Verendrye Electric that’s marked Secret Santa in the memo line.
