🚨Scam Alert: Fake Disconnect Calls

We want to alert our members that scammers are at it again. Several members have reported receiving calls from someone claiming to be a Verendrye Electric employee. The caller threatens to disconnect power immediately unless payment is made over the phone.

⚠️ Please remember:

Verendrye will never call and demand immediate payment or threaten to shut off your service on the spot.

If you receive a call like this, hang up immediately.

Do not give out personal, banking, or card information over the phone.

If you are ever unsure about a call, you can call (701) 338-2855, send us a message, or log in to your SmartHub account to verify your balance.

If you suspect you’ve been targeted, note the caller’s number if possible and report it to us.
