Revolving Loan Fund

Verendrye Electric Cooperative is helping economic development efforts in the area by administering a Revolving Loan Fund made possible with funds from the USDA.

Loans with only one-percent interest and minimal administrative fees are available to businesses, non-profit organizations, and government and tribal entities through the Revolving Loan Fund.Eligible applicants can receive between $5,000 and $100,000 through the program. The money was provided by a grant from the USDA and there is no risk to the cooperative. The funds will eventually be paid back to the USDA.

Scholarships

Each year we recognize students for their achievements by teaming up with Basin Electric, our generation cooperative, to offer three $1,000 scholarships. Verendrye also funds Dollars for Scholars scholarships in the communities we serve. See the information below for an application and details of the program. Applications should be submitted to Verendrye Electric Cooperative by the due date listed on the application

Operation Round Up Guidelines and Application

Deadlines to apply for Operation Round Up grants are April 15, August 15 and December 15. Incomplete applications will be rejected.

Grants are decided by a five-member board elected from Verendrye Electric's Member Advisory Committee. If the grant request is not for a medical expense, the board typically likes to see requests for tangible items. Grants will not be awarded for operating budgets or for school trips or camp scholarships.

Annual Report 2018

The Verendrye Annual Report is mailed to all of its members each year at the end of May or early June, right before the Annual Meeting. The Annual Report gives members a recap of the milestones of the past year, it contains information about the candidates for the board of directors and it contains a full schedule of the Annual meeting. The current issue is available on this page. For past issues, click the corresponding year:
